Saddle, awarded with 1 Michelin Star and 2 Repsol ‘soles’, opened its doors with the aim of becoming a contemporary classic in the dining scene.

Saddle offers an experience where respect for the product and mastery in blending classic and current techniques shine, both in service and cuisine.

To achieve this, we are the only restaurant in Madrid spread over 2 floors with three different environments: the bar, focused on cocktails; the grand dining room; and finally, its five private dining rooms, which occupy an entire floor

Our spaces

Restaurant

The restaurant was founded on the legacy of Jockey, an establishment that left its mark on Spanish cuisine in the 20th century and was ahead of its time.

Our restaurant revives classic recipes with nods to nouvelle cuisine and great chefs of the past. The same applies to the drinks, as we offer spirits from another time and wines that made a global mark on the history of wine.

Since the 2000s, in Spain, great restaurants were understood solely as tasting menu restaurants. Saddle was created to give back to customers the grand à la carte restaurant, offering full or half portions where one can create their own 4-5 course menu, providing the freedom you may need on every occasion.

At Saddle, we work with seasonal products to guarantee the best quality of the product at its peak moment. Therefore, we always have off-menu dishes, and we change the menu once or even twice during each season of the year.

Additionally, our service in the dining room follows a style more typical of the technical aspects of the last century.

Saddle Bar

It’s an informal yet sophisticated space that embraces tradition and modern techniques. Saddle Bar is built around a central axis of hospitality.

Serving reinterpreted classics, the cocktail menu evolves throughout the year, offering the best of each season and committed to the philosophy that less is more, prioritizing flavor above anything else.

Saddle boasts one of the most extensive spirits menus in central Spain to adapt to all kinds of needs.

Additionally, we offer specialty coffees and teas. In summary, it’s a perfect space to enjoy at any time of the day and no reservation is needed.

Private rooms

Saddle has four spectacular private dining rooms that guarantee exclusivity for lunches, dinners, presentations, or meetings.

 

Accessible from the ground floor of the restaurant via stairs or an elevator that ensures complete privacy, one can reach the second floor of the restaurant.

 

It is the only restaurant in Madrid with an entire floor dedicated to private dining rooms, each independent and with the capacity to accommodate from 1 to 20 people.
